The Cooks/Kitchen Helper Position is responsible to assists in the serving and preparation of food . In addition, maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining areas
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Knowledgeable in proper cooked and uncooked food temperatures
· knowledge of all safety guidelines in kitchen
· Assists in serving food
· Operates dish-washing equipment
· Cleans and checks service equipment
· Able to identify and safely use all kitchen equipment.
· Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
· Cleans and maintains dining room and kitchen facilities
· Assists in moving and storing supplies
· Three months experience in a food service area
· Ability to have a highly motivated and energetic personality.
· Working Knowledge of basic Kitchen equipment.
· Must be able to carry 25-50 lbs.
· Able to stand for multiple hours.
